Roskilde Festival donates DKK 1,000,000 (approx. € 134,000) to Danish Red Cross' relief work in Pakistan.
The money is an indirect donation from the festival's big audience. Thanks to you all.
At Roskilde Festival we take pride in being eye openers and daring to put our finger where it hurts a little. And the many people in Pakistan, who are affected by the flood, need all the help and attention they can get.
Makes a difference
Even though the rain in Pakistan has now stopped, and in some places the water has retreated, the disaster is far from over. The challenge is still getting clean drinking water, food and medicine to the victims.
More than 20 million people are affected by the severe flooding in Pakistan.
Each year, Roskilde Festival donates the profits in full to humanitarian and cultural projects.
